Watch Your Retirement Funds – Don’t Be a Target
Hi Folks,
Most of us seniors have worked hard our entire career, raised and supported our family, given back to our community and nation and have done our best to save for our senior years. But then we have to contend with the ”low-lifes” that want to live off of our hard work and profit from our savings and investments.
It is really sad to hear all the stories of the seniors that lose practically everything they have to some jerk that should be living under a rock.

The 4% Retirement Withdrawal Rule
Hi Folks,
When I was in my early 60s I began considering retirement. I invested in some very good retirement planning books and began searching the Internet for all the information about retirement I could find.
One piece of advice I consistently ran across was this: never withdraw more than 4% of your retirement savings in any one year. I calculated what 4% of my retirement savings would be and learned that I simply did not have enough to retire on.

Retirement Nest Egg ‘Bandits’
Hi Folks,
Money is a little tight around my house! Not because we don’t have the money to spend but because we want to keep as much as we can so we will not run out later. You don’t hear it much any more but folks used to say “watch your pennies and your dollars will take care of themselves”. For most of us retirees, watching our pennies is critical so that we will have the dollars when we need them.
But we don’t want to sit in the house every day, never doing or going (living) so that we can save a dollar. So, based on how much savings/income we have, it’s important that we develop a life style based on these resources where we consider everything we spend so that we do not waste our pennies or our dollars.
