Low Cost Family Fun Trips – Part Two

Hi Folks,

Here is part two of Low Cost Family Fun Trips, by Febe Van Zanten. These articles are written for families with children but they are just as enjoyable for adults without children.

As I mentioned yesterday Janie and I love to travel but those wonderful times on the road have been curtailed drastically this year due to the bad economy.  But I have at least a dozen day trips planned for this summer and fall (we have already taken a couple) plus a couple overnighters.  These should satisfy our wondering spirit.

Low Cost Family Fun Day Trips

Hi Folks,

If you are like my wife and I, spring, summer and fall means V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N-S. We love to go and see, explore and discover. But with the economy in the pits, vacation time has pretty much came to a halt for us. So I have started searching out ideas for alternate vacations (read cheap). And I have found a lot of great ideas. Over the next weeks I will post some of the good ideas  I come up with.

I notice that a lot of the suggestions for inexpensive vacations are slanted toward families with children. But that doesn’t mean they don’t apply to us seniors. In fact there may be some terriffic ideas here for including you kids and grand kids.
