Prepare your house for winter weather
Hi Folks,
We all know that winter is on its way and that a little work now can save you a lot of misery and money later on but countless people will put off these simple chores until winter catches them. Well, they won’t be able to say I didn’t warn them!
This following article covers some areas not mentioned in the other articles I published on preparing for winter and the writer also recommends installing a standby generator. My next door neighbor had an emergency generator installed a few years ago but other than testing it, I don’t believe he has ever had to use it. I live in upstate South Carolina where the winters are mild so a standby generator would be a luxury for me, but for you folks living further north, an emergency generator might not be a bad idea.
