Choosing a Retirement Calculator
Hi Folks,
Years ago when I first began considering retirement I discovered retirement calculators and their value when planning for retirement. I chose an excellent calculator and followed its instructions to the letter. That is when I discovered that retirement for me was four years away.
Today my Financial Advisor has a retirement calculator that uses Monte Carlo Risk Assessment to determine if my retirement plan is on target to see my wife and me through our senior years.

SENIOR SAFETY-Self Defense Tips For Seniors
Hi Folks,
Today, let’s talk about protecting ourselves from physical attacks by bad guys. We really need to know how you know!
As we grow older we are not as spry as we once were which makes us more vulnerable to attack and a good target for the lowlifes that are out there. But there are plenty of good ways to protect ourselves, we just need to learn them and be willing to use them.

Watch Your Retirement Funds – Don’t Be a Target
Hi Folks,
Most of us seniors have worked hard our entire career, raised and supported our family, given back to our community and nation and have done our best to save for our senior years. But then we have to contend with the ”low-lifes” that want to live off of our hard work and profit from our savings and investments.
It is really sad to hear all the stories of the seniors that lose practically everything they have to some jerk that should be living under a rock.

Protecting Your Social Security Number From Identity Theft
Hi Folks,
Today’s article is not necessarily just for seniors. It is for everyone who has a Social Security number.
So why am I publishing it in my blog for seniors? Well, for two reasons: one, the author goes much deeper into his discussion of identity theft than the average article you read so seniors need to read it; and two, because it is a more thoroughly written article you should pass it along to your children and your friends so they will also have the benefit of being better prepared against identity theft.

Very Important Tips for Senior Safety
Hi Folks,
I have a really important article to share with you today – Senior Safety.
Because I spend a great deal of my time focused on seniors I am probably more aware than most of the “bad things” that happen to us older citizens. And the sad thing is that most of these “bad things” could have been averted if only the senior had taken a few precautionary steps.
Carl Ringwall has done a commendable job listing these common sense safety steps we all should take as we go about enjoying our senior years.
