Hi Folks,

I look forward to sharing with you future articles by Susan.

Social Security Cost of Living Adjustment
Those of you that have visited my website very often know that I generally stick to the positive side of retirement and senior living but I am so upset with that bunch in Washington that I may change my website policy. Our elected officials and their hired hands are failing us at every turn but continue to treat themselves like kings and queens.

Coupons, Couponers, and Couponing
Hi Retirees,
Did you know that you can save a ton of money using coupons when shopping for everyday household items and groceries? You must spend the time to do the searching, clipping and printing but the payback is more than worth it.
I’m not really sure why folks shy away from coupons. People complain about the cost of groceries and household supplies but absolutely refuse to try using coupons. Yet with a little effort they can easily save 25% – 50% on their monthly grocery & household supply purchases.

Recovering Your Lost Retirement Funds
Hi Folks,
Did you lose a lot of your retirement savings during the recent economic downturn? Funny that the GOV created stemulus packages for the folks that lost our investments but no stimulus package for the losers!
Well, whatever! It’s still up to us to try to regain as much of our savings as we can. I think the number one key to a timely recovery is with a Certified Financial Planner. And don’t even stop to chat with someone that is not “certified”.

Seniors: How to Keep Your Mind Sharp
Hi folks,
A lot of seniors are not going to want to hear this but it seem that playing your grandkids video games is good for your brain!!!
I’ve read several articles recently about senior citizens keeping their mind sharp by playing video games, so appearently there is something to it. My sister-in-law is 83 years old and she has one particular computer game that she plays every day and compares her score with all the others that play it. Not only is she good at this game but she also has one sharp mind.

Baby Boomers Find Retirement Money on the Internet
Hi Folks,
Are you considering a second job or a business as a way to fill in your retirement money gap?
More and more retired and about to retire folks are finding a second job or starting their own small business. Cheryl Snider, today’s author, addresses this with an eye to baby boomers but her article is just as relevant to those that are older.
Incidently, I am also publishing this article on my other website, The Extra Income Ezine ( www.extraincomeezine.com ). If you are thinking about finding a second job, starting a small business, or becoming an independent agent come on over to The Extra Income Ezine and see what’s there.
