SAVING MONEY WITH COUPONS
Hi Folks,
Today I have a fun site for you to visit, http://www.dealcatcher.com/. This site is all about coupons and sales. But be sure you have plenty of time before you go there as you will probably end up spending an hour or so. And you will probably want to bookmark the site so you can go back. I got the name of DealCatcher from a Readers Digest article and I spent quite a bit of time poking around before passing it along to you.
I mentioned in a previous post that Janie (my bride of 52 years) and I like to use grocery coupons. Several of our local super markets double the amount of the coupon so if we pay close attention we can save a lot. Also a couple of our favorite restaurants periodically have BOGO coupons in ValPak or the newspaper.

MEDICARE INSURANCE
Two of the scariest aspects of retirement living are: not having enough money to live on and not having adequate health insurance. A lot of folks retire thinking that Social Security and basic Medicare insurance will take care of them. It doesn’t take long for them to discover that it’s almost impossible to live on Social Security and that basic Medicare doesn’t take care of all medical conditions or prescription drugs.
We’ll discuss Social Security another time but for now let’s talk about Medicare.
